Just one of those moments when we dont see it coming...

Hunter has this monkey puppet ~ he LOVES it!!!! He ALWAYS comes running when he hears it and it has always been useful when we want to get his attention. Esp when we cant get him to look ~ well life with an ASD child just goes to show you that never assume anything ~ we used it today to get Hunters attention and not only did he not respond or run towards it he never even flinched in response to hearing it. There was also no reason he would have not heard it. Hubby did it for quite a while too to give him time to process it. Which was SO loud and clear :( This is one example of how Hunter can respond so well at times and then other times you see nothing :(
